Kenmore 35 pint Dehumidifier Review
I've had my 35 pint Kenmore dehumidifier for awhile now, and it has dependably wrung many gallons of water from our basement over time. I have two dehumidifiers working at the same time, and this one is much quieter than the older one. It also extracts more water from the air more quickly. Both are 35 pint models, but the Kenmore pulls much more moisture from the air and I drain 3 containers from it for each one container from the other machine.
All in all, I'm a satisfied customer and would consider another Kenmore product when this one ends its useful life span.

It lasted all of 1 year, started making loud vibrating noises and stopped dehumidifying.
Wasn't worth repairing...bought an LG model which is considerably quieter. Hoping for a drier basement in 2010.

got this for christmas in 2006. august 2008 i had to take it in and have it repaired by sears for , even though it was still partially under warranty. this spring it began starting and stopping abruptly, making excessive noise, and not dehumidifying. Instead of spending another on repairs, I got a new model with a 5 year service plan.

I've had this dehumidifier for 2+ years and have had no problems with it. The first dehumidifier I bought died because I didn't realize I needed to clean the dirt screen once in a while. I've kept this one clean since I got it and it has done the job well. Actually looking at buying a second one to keep in the back half of my house since I live in a mobile home and the moisture is overwhelming in the winter time. Would recommend this product to anyone.
