Crane Adorable 1 Gallon Cool Mist Humidifier, Penguin Shape Review
I actually got the frog humidifier for free. Someone left the building and left it. It is wonderful! I have a more expensive humidifier but after I got this one I retired it. The other one might be bigger but this this is fantastic. I love the available mist ranges. This thing really kicks up some cool mist. It does the job and has the bonus of being cute. I've had this for six months and keep moving it from office to bedroom with me. I'm actually shopping for another one right now. I'm considering the dragon:) (no kids, just a child at heart).

We have been through many humidifiers, this one is easily the best. The mist volume is widely adjustable. You can swivel the spout (beak)
to point anywhere without moving the whole unit around. Its easy to refill, which is a big weakness of most of our other humidifiers. A whole refill lasts 2-3 nights on moderate setting. Its a cool mist, so you don't have to worry about burns, safety, etc. BEST OF ALL - SO QUIET! It barely makes a sound. Highly recommended.

Got it (the frog), filled it up and started it. Five days later going 10 hours a day on MAX it is still sitting at two thirds full. I have not seen any mist come out of it since the first few hours. I'm not sure that it is even working. My room does not feel any more humid. And you think the water level would slowly decrease but I'm not seeing it. Cannot recommend this, I don't think this is a working model.

Simple to use. Cute. Quiet. Plastic smell noted by some went away after a few uses. No problems with the unit making wet spots on the floor or furniture as also noted by some. Tank cap does sometimes go on crooked, so that's a small annoyance. This is a replacement unit for the penguin model which stopped working after I accidentally spilled water inside it. Be careful when placing the tank back on its base that you don't get water in the air impeller.
