Heuck 33000 Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron 10-1/2-Inch Chicken Fryer Review
Great cast iron pan. Not the kind of pan you carry from the stove to your table top unless you are a weight lifter.
Table top ready and oven ready this pan will go in the oven as well as on the burner on your stovetop.
Buy a cast iron pan and NEVER have to buy another pan for the rest of your life, your kids life and your grandkids life.
Passing down cookware is rarely done in the modern world, the cheap stuff never lasts.
Quality always lasts and is always in style. The seasoned pan is easily seasoned by coating it with cooking oil and putting it in the oven.
I highly recommend this cast iron pan, and all others.
Cast Iron pans are the best. After a fire, an earthquake, tornado or a hurricane you can always find your cast iron cookware intact and ready to go.
Cast iron pans are the ONLY PANS TO GO CAMPING WITH, all the rest turn to garbage after a week in the woods.
Buy this pan and never have to buy another pan, unless this pan is stolen.
Buy the best and cry once.

horrible smelly covering on pan, horrible pan - Cynthia J. Stebbins - albany, ny United States
this pan came"pre seasoned" the pre seasoning was so toxic smelling I would not use this pan until i had actually gotten got my drill with a sandpaper bit and ground the covering off the entire pan and lid. When i first placed pan on stove it smelled like gasoline. Lodge preseasons its pans with olive oil apparently Heuck preseasons its pans with a petroleum based product or paint. As I use cast iron because I don't want the toxcicity of teflon I found this appalling, i would rather use the teflon, at least that doesn't smell! The actual pan is nowhere near as smooth as the Lodge pan ( for approximately the same price). The lid is not one piece but has the little knob screwed on the top. I fear the screw will melt if subjected to the high temps the rest of the pan should handle. The pan itself does not appear to be even some areas are clearly thinner than others. When I read the instructions for use it said to wash the pan in hot soapy water before use! Anyone who uses cast iron knows that you never wash a cast iron pan with soap, unless you want to remove the finish.( washing it did not remove the finish, unfortunately). I would strongly advise against this product, I feel that the coating on the pan is not healthy,at the very least it will ruin the flavor of any food cooked in it and will send a retched smell througout your home when you first use it. buy lodge or or old mountainor something else..
Great size but quality? - M. A. Mitchell - Oklahoma
The skillet is a great size and cooks like any piece of cast iron should. I enjoy cooking with cast iron! The only issue bottom of skillet was not flat when received. I had to grind down a ridge left on bottom of skillet. The ridge made the skillet wobble back and forth while on stove.
Absolutely love it - Laurie Davidson -
I have ordered several different cast iron pans over the past few months. This one is by far the best. It comes very well seasoned and cooks excellent right from the start. Just make sure you take the time to re-season it and care for it correctly. I was a little disappointed to find out that the cover is only heat safe to 350 degrees while the pan is safe to 500 degrees but not a big deal.
